Q: Where is the tour departure point?
A: Lawrenceville, GA Ghost Tours depart from the Pike Street entrance of Lawrenceville Arts Center, 128 Pike Street in Lawrenceville. Free Covered parking is available at City of Lawrenceville Parking Deck at 153 Crogan Street. Click herefor more detailed directions.
Q: Do I need to buy tickets in advance?
A: Yes. Due to our enhanced safety measures, tours will be strictly limited in size and we will not be able to process walk-up ticket purchases.
Q: Does the ticket price include gratuity?
A: No, gratuity is not included in the ticket price. While a gratuity is never expected, if you think that your guide provided exceptional customer service, we hope you will show your appreciation when they “pass the hat” at the end of the tour.
Q: Does the tour happen rain or shine?
A: Yes, the tour runs in all weather unless it is dangerous for our patrons. If we cancel the tour due to dangerous weather, guests can reschedule for another night. Lawrenceville, GA Ghost Tours reserves the right to cancel a tour if there are not enough participants.
Q: I am running late for the tour. Will you wait for me?
A: No. We must start the tour on time because our other guests do not want to wait. The tour leaves promptly. No refunds will be issued to people who are late and miss the tour. Please give yourself plenty of time to get to the tour and find parking!
Q: How long is the tour?
A: The tour is approximately 90 minutes and participants will walk about a mile.
Q: Do you offer group rates?
A: Yes, group rates are available for groups of 10 people or more. Groups may also schedule private tours outside of our usual schedule. To schedule a group, call the Aurora Theatre Box Office at 678.226.6222 or email boxoffice@auroratheatre.com.
Q: Can I bring my dog with me on your tour?
A: No, please leave all pets at home for the tour.
Q: Can I take pictures on the tour?
A: We welcome picture taking, but ask that the use of flash be minimized while the guide is telling a story. If picture taking during a story becomes distracting, the guide will ask you to wait until they have finished the story. If you capture any paranormal phenomena on your camera, we would appreciate it if you email your photo to info@scarystroll.com so that we may share it with others.
Q: Is it all right for me to text or use a cell phone during the tour?
A: No. If our guides notice you using a mobile device during a story, they will ask you to stop. If you continue to distract the guide, you may be asked to leave the tour. If you are asked to leave the tour because of being disruptive, you will not receive a refund.
Q: What happens if guests are disruptive?
A: If a guest is being disruptive to the guide or other guests, the guide will ask them to refrain from continuing their disruptive behavior. If the guest continues to be disruptive, it is the guide’s discretion to ask the guest to leave the tour, in which case, the ticket will not be refunded.
Q: What if I have to use the bathroom during the tour?
A: There is no place to stop on the tour. Be sure to use the facilities before departing the lobby!
Q: Is this tour suitable for children?
A: The tour is designed for participants of all ages, however we recommend that those with younger children who are easily frightened proceed with caution.
Q: Is the tour wheelchair accessible?
A: Yes, our route is fully accessible to wheelchair, scooters and strollers. However, the entrance to the historic jail is narrow, so most wheelchairs can not enter, but they can be at the open door and still hear and see the storyteller.
Q: Where is a good place to eat before/after the tour?
A: The downtown Lawrenceville Square is full of wonderful places to eat, drink and shop. You will pass many of these fine establishments while on the tour. Do not hesitate to ask your tour guide for a recommendation.
