Southern Ballet Theatre of Georgia Inc. (SBT) is a premier dance company in the Southeast dedicated to educating, promoting and increasing appreciation of dance. Since 1991, SBT has been inspiring individuals and families through the performing arts, regardless of financial, physical or mental ability. 

SBT presents critically-acclaimed theater performances, public school demonstrations, art festivals and other community activities. In recent seasons, SBT has delighted audiences with full length ballets including The Nutcracker, Peter Pan, The Little Mermaid, Moana’s Voyage, Maleficent + Aurora: The Beginning, Frozen: A Tale of the Ice Queen, Rapunzel, Aladdin, and Cinderella.  

SBT, a 501(c) (3) non-profit, is housed at Southern Performing Arts Academy (SPAA) in Lawrenceville, Ga. Southern Performing Arts Academy is now located in Downtown Lawrenceville. Their 3-story building pays homage to the Lawrenceville City School that sat on the hill from 1895-1957. SPAA/SBT is very excited to be involved in the wonderful arts culture in Downtown Lawrenceville!
