The Celtic Tenors – March 15, 2027
On March 15, just ahead of St. Patty’s Day, trade the familiar sounds of class American pop for something entirely different with a little Irish magic. The Celtic Tenors are bringing more than 25 years of international performances, incredible vocal harmonies, and unmistakable Irish charm to the Lawrenceville Arts Center.
This internationally acclaimed trio combines classical training with traditional Irish music, folk, opera, and contemporary pop. The result is a concert that moves effortlessly between ballads, harmonies, and moments of humor that make audiences feel like they’re part of the experience. With more than one million albums sold worldwide and chart-topping success in the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, and Ireland, The Celtic Tenors have built a following that spans generations.
Their musical accomplishments include an early self-titled album that topped the Irish album charts, reached No. 2 in the United Kingdom and entered the Billboard Classical Top 10. Their album So Strong also earned Germany’s prestigious ECHO Award.
The concert offers a memorable experience for multiple generations, whether parents and grandparents are enjoying songs that connect them to their Irish heritage or younger audiences are discovering the power of live vocal performance. Rich harmonies, engaging stories, and unexpected musical moments make for an evening that can leave audiences with chills, smiles, and plenty to talk about long after the final note. Sincerely, Sondheim – March 20, 2027
Then, for anyone who has ever fallen in love with a musical, found themselves singing along to a Broadway favorite, or appreciates a story that stays with them long after the curtain falls, Sincerely, Sondheim offers an evening to remember. This musical love letter celebrates the extraordinary music and lyrics of Stephen Sondheim, one of Broadway’s most influential composers and lyricists.
Starring Nicholas Rodriguez, whose Broadway credits include the Tony Award-winning revival of Company, this concert takes audiences beyond the music. Through stories drawn from Sondheim’s thousands of typed letters to friends, collaborators, and aspiring artists, Rodriguez explores the personal relationships, creative influences, and remarkable stories behind the music. Audiences will hear selections from some of Broadway’s most celebrated productions, including Company, Sunday in the Park with George, and Into the Woods, alongside stories that bring the legendary composer’s creative world to life.
Rodriguez brings impressive credentials of his own. In addition to his Broadway work, he has appeared in The Sound of Music, Evita, and Hair, earned a Helen Hayes Award for Best Actor in a Musical and received a GLAAD Media Award for his television work. He was also a 2024 Grammy nominee for Sondheim Unplugged.
For families, this is an opportunity to introduce younger generations to the magic of Broadway storytelling. For theater lovers, it’s a chance to revisit beloved musical moments. It’s an evening that invites conversation, nostalgia and appreciation for the music that has shaped generations of performers. Join Nicholas Rodriguez for Sincerely, Sondheim on the Clyde & Sandra Strickland Grand Stage at the Lawrenceville Arts Center on Saturday, March 20, 2027, at 7:30 PM.
