Tito Puente Jr. Brings The Rhythms of Latin Music Royalty to Lawrenceville Arts Center

Performance kicks off City of Lawrenceville’s two-day CULTURA celebration

The Lawrenceville Arts Center is excited to announce an unforgettable night of high-energy Latin music as Tito Puente Jr. and his Latin jazz ensemble perform live on the Clyde & Sandra Strickland Grand Stage.

This special performance serves as the official kickoff event for CULTURA, the City of Lawrenceville’s annual celebration of Hispanic and Latin American culture. This will bring iconic Latin music to Downtown Lawrenceville for an unforgettable night of dancing, singing and cultural celebration.

Tito Puente Jr. carries forward the legacy of his father, the legendary Tito Puente, widely known as “The King of Latin Music.” Over a career spanning more than five decades, Tito Puente Sr. helped introduce mambo, salsa, and Latin jazz to mainstream audiences, won multiple Grammy Awards, recorded more than 100 albums, and influenced generations of musicians around the world. His iconic hit “Oye Como Va” became one of the most celebrated Latin songs of all time.

Tito Puente Jr. honors that legacy while creating a vibrant musical identity of his own. Known for his charismatic stage presence and energetic live performances, he has captivated audiences across the United States with concerts that blend mambo, salsa, Latin jazz, and tropical rhythms. The Tito Puente Jr. concert will take place at the Lawrenceville Arts Center, a premier performing arts destination located in the heart of Downtown Lawrenceville.
